This place is perfectly fine for a quick takeout or counter service experience. The staff is efficient, but I wouldn't say they are particularly friendly or attentive. The food is delicious and it's quite popular with the locals. The aromas during lunch and dinner are fantastic. There are usually a few people in line or waiting. It's a simple counter-style setup with just a few booths and tables, so I wouldn’t recommend dining in. Also, the parking lot is in pretty rough shape with lots of potholes. But that’s just how things are in Denver. I would suggest this spot for local Mexican takeout or delivery, especially if you're looking for something more affordable than the pricier sit-down res...
We had an event at our office and we had to order extra food last minute so we decided on tamales and they were a hit! We ordered 25 dozen the day before and when it was time for pickup everything went smoothly. The staff was awesome, super helpful and friendly. All the tamales were gone by the end of the night. We highly recommend Tamale Kitchen for their tamales!!
I used to live very close to this restaurant, and now I live on the other side of the Denver metro area. But I know these tamales are worth the long treck. I got to have tamales on Christmas Eve.
Thank you so much for supporting a youth leadership organization. The food was so delicious and it is hard to satisfy 150 teenagers but they loved it. SO no complaints here!

I love coming here with my family, especially during Christmas. I didn't make any tamales this year, so they really saved the day, and everyone always enjoys them!
I feel like every time we go the staff is always very rude. The prices keep going up but the service gets worse and the food is mediocre at best.
This place has a killer menu and the world's best pork green chili. Not a crummy corporate operation, just family owned for many, many decades
Got the Piccadillo burrito smothered in green chili and cheese and it did not disappoint! So good and they did not skimp on the green!

It's a great place if you're on a budget. Burritos are priced at $6, but you definitely get what you pay for.
Food is always consistent here. Not the best food but very, very good for the money.
