Tamarind - Reservar una mesa

Eleven of us had a catch up dinner here on Friday night.  Seeing some of the mixed reviews I must admit that I went to this restaurant with some trepidation and I had decided that I wouldn't bother with entrees. However the group decided to order a lot of dishes, including entrees, to share and I went along with the flow.  The entrees aren't as good as the mains, but much better than expected given some of the reviews I have read on this site.  The mains, in general, were excellent. The beef massaman curry was the best I have ever tasted and the choo-chee fish was stunning. The only disappointment was with the Pad Thai, which was one of the worst I have ever had.  However...

Good quality Asian food for those who are not feeling too adventuress. The food looked and tasted great but was not anything  different or exciting. The service was friendly and the food came very quickly. The restaurant was very quiet, not even some background music to create some atmosphere. Perhaps take-away is the way to go.

I don't think I've been to a Cambodian restaurant before. Unfortunately I was way too hungry to remember to take photos for here, so you'll have to trust me that it looked great. And it tasted even better. I highly recommend the Massaman (sp?) curry - mild & delicious. BYO anything alcoholic is a plus too

Personal amable, servicio eficiente, ambiente agradable (perfecto para una fecha). Nuestra comida salió bastante rápido, ambos platos eran sirves de buen tamaño, llenos de carne y mariscos, gran degustación. Bien de precio, consistentemente bueno, pero no 'te aleja fantástico'. Es BYO, ¿cuál es un bono!

Mi pareja y yo venimos aquí a menudo. Siempre un servicio rápido y amable, el ambiente informal y la comida es increíble siempre fresco. Parece ser muy popular en los fines de semana, así que paga para reservar.
