This is the ideal hidden gem for anyone looking to savor authentic Ethiopian cuisine and coffee! The service on a Saturday afternoon was excellent, and our food arrived promptly and remarkably fresh. The vegetarian platter is a delightful experience, perfect for sharing. If you’ve never tried Ethiopian food before, injera is a spongy flatbread that I would compare to a sourdough crepe—it’s used to scoop up your food, and the best part is, you eat it all with your hands (no utensils needed)! It’s a playful and slightly messy way to enjoy your meal. We also ordered a chicken dish to complement the vegetarian options, and it paired perfectly. The Sambusas we tried, whether veggie or meat, were...

The food is absolutely delicious—it's one of the best Ethiopian restaurants in the country. If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely need to! The combination platter is among the best you'll find. The owner is incredibly friendly and takes the time to explain the menu thoroughly, so if you have any questions, she's more than happy to help. The coffee is outstanding, and the food is super healthy. They also offer a dish called Sambusa, which comes in vegetarian or meat options and is very tasty. Additionally, they have a drink called honey wine, or "TEJ," which is delightful.

Great restaurant tucked away in Orange County. The owner was very sweet and offered recommendations on what my friends and I should try. Finger food that was very well seasoned and the portions were very good for the price we ended up paying. They seemed to have kept their prices down despite the growing inflation that's been taking place lately which was a pleasant surprise for me. Service was fast and everything was clean. I would definitely come back again in the future. It's as close to a delicious home cooked meal as you can get!

This restaurant is fantastic! My husband and I have been coming here for many years. The food is incredible, and the family that runs the place is extremely kind and accommodating. The service is fast and friendly. They offer a wide range of delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes, as well as tasty meat options! If you're feeling adventurous, I highly recommend trying the tej, a fermented honey alcoholic drink they serve here—it's wonderful!

We went here for our first experience with Ethiopian food and it was pretty positive. Everything tasted great, although we don't have other experiences to compare it to. The service was great, and the staff was friendly. Prices were reasonable and it didn't take a long time for food to come out. I'd suggest this place and look forward to trying more Ethiopian food to learn about this part of the culture Service: Dine in

Without a doubt, the best Ethiopian food in Orange County! The owner is an incredible woman—she is kind, humble, and always goes above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is perfect. There are plenty of vegan options available, and the injera is made fresh every day. The iced tea is absolutely delightful!
