The customer experience was extremely poor. We were made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable by the staff and management. We had a booking at 8:30 and were seated promptly, but the service felt rushed. When we requested more drinks and coffee at around 9:40, we were told it was too late for coffee but they were happy to serve beer. It seemed like we were the last table as numerous staff stood nearby, waiting for us to leave. Our bill was brought to the table before we finished our drinks, making it clear they wanted us to leave. We paid and left feeling disappointed. We have been a customer for at least 10 years. The quality has been going down and down hill. This review is about a Takeaway. Our previous one was cold on delivery, the whole meal has been made from reheated food which appeared to be from a previous serving period. This most recent one was worse even after we specifically asked that the food be freshly cooked. It clearly wasnt. We tried to contact TH immediately but we got no response, then eventually we had a reply which said the management would review our concern. One week later and after a second reminder still no response. I guess they dont want our custom. Sorry TH but the food is poor quality and the service is just as bad.

My mum really wanted to try this place so we popped in hoping they would have a table, and they did, even though it was a busy Saturday tea time! The place is busy but really pretty, with a lot of ambience. I had onion bhaji and karahi palak paneer, both of which were really nice. The bhajis were spicy (could have maybe used some raita) and the curry was delicious I felt like I could taste every spice in it which was really good! My stepdad's chicken tandoori looked amazing too. Prices are decent. The naan breads are huge definitely share between about three people! We will be back!

The food is not bad . But the guy that takes the phone orders is unbearable! He’s aggressive and shouty . I’ve mentioned this to the next person that’s not him and been informed that he’s either the manager or owner ! Well if that’s the truth tandoori hut ? Like the classic episodes of “kitchen nightmares “ you need to stop him answering the phone asap . I only order Saturdays when others don’t deliver . But would order more often if this guy did not take the order” arrrrghhhg “ thanks what he talks like and repeats everything . The food at this restaurant is delicious and fresh, with perfect portion sizes. The menu offers a great selection to choose from, and the restaurant itself is clean and modern. The only downside is that everything is spicy, even the korma dishes. Unfortunately, there is no indication on the menu of the spice level, which has led to some diners being disappointed. Despite this, we will return due to the high quality of the food, but it is important for others to be aware of how spicy everything is.

Well it’s been over three years since we last visited this restaurant as we have moved up to Whitley Bay, So we thought we would come back and visit it as we are staying in a hotel for the night nearby,the service was great and the food is still outstanding and full of flavour we ordered 4 popadoms and a pickle tray, and for our main meal we ordered a Tandoori mix grill,a Vegetable Pathia and a Garlic and Coriander Nan Bread with 2 drinks 10 out of 10 I would rate it

I usually order takeout from this restaurant, but I was very disappointed tonight. I ordered a lamb curry and the meat was extremely burnt and inedible. The burnt taste overwhelmed the curry sauce. Overall, the meal was very poor. When I called to inform them, I was spoken to rudely. I will never order from here again.

Went here last night celebrating a birthday and A level results we enjoyed a brilliant evening the food was all amazing we all different things and everyone said how good it was lovely newly refurbished restaurant and very friendly and efficient staff who served us with great meals thanks highly recommended Reserva una mesa ahora

Wow tandoori hut what a lovely evening we had our meal was lovely and the naan bread is massive lol beautifully furnished restaurant thankyou to all staff for excellent service from start to finsh and bringing our daughters cake out singing happy birthday to her finished off a lovely evening

We were very disappointed about the bar closing at 10pm we were not told on the night and we ad a taxi booked for 10.30pm so ad to wait outside for 15mins they should av told us the bar was closed at 10pm it spoiled a lovely night.
