Called in for take away food several days ago, top class food, 25% off all take away meals . Went back there tonight with family for dine in experience . Staff were wonderful, very helpful with infant. Service was wonderful, they went that little bit extra. Food was excellent , we shared meals and could not eat it all so they gave us left overs to take home. Atmosphere was lovely, quiet indian music , not too intrusive . Prices were reasonable . Why would you want visit this great restaurant and use wifi ?Would definitely suggest you give this place a try, you will not regret it
I was underwhelmed by our visit to Tandoori Oven. Based on reviews here I was expecting a much more tasty experience.The staff were great, decor ok, didn't have to wait long for food.But, my husband ordered a vego meal and I had a curry with "garden vegetables".We essentially got the same meal with or without chicken. It was quite bland, in both cases.It was very reasonably priced so I didn't feel ripped off at least. That said you shouldn't have to sacrifice taste for cost.
Centrally located in Cairns CBD close to the Esplanade. This quaint little restaurant is really busy with many Indian people eating there. So when people of that region eat there you know it has to be good right. Many vegetarian options. I got a spinach potato paneer. Yum mine was hot. Didn't leave your lips tingling like chilli but it was hot. Saffron rice. If you have an entertainment book they have a 25% off voucher which can be used multiple times
Tandoori Oven restaurant at Cairns is probably the best place to have yummy, mouth watering North Indian meals!!! The place is quite big and well decorated. Seating is comfortable. Meal quality, quantity and taste is superb. They have both vegetarian and non vegetarian meal options. Love their Paneer, dal makhani and samosa !!!Pricing is also fairly good. They have speciaal thali options and pricing as well.

We had a lovely family meal celebrating my sons 16th birthday here. The pakora is absolutely the best. Caters to all spice levels therefore everyone from my nine year old to my husband loved their meal. Wholesome, tasty meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Thanks.
Recently visited the Tandoori Oven with a few friends, I couldn't fault the service, the staff were very attentive… and the restaurant was very busy, as it was a Friday… However our meals didn't have that much flavour too them unfortunately…
Family dinner with two children, loads of seating, amazing food! Quick service, presented well. Clean tables, clean fresh food, located short walk from central Cairns district. Amazing!!! Definitely would recommend to others
Well worth a visit the service was very good and the food great. We had Murgh Sabzi authentic chicken curry with vegetables very tasty and was a real winner, I will be going back. Recommend the Murgh Sabzi.

Enjoyed a nice meal with the family. Service was great and the food was plentiful and tasty. Butter chicken was excellent.
Place is nice and clean with slightly open kitchen, food quality is good and price is very reasonable.
