Based on website the resort sounds great. Driving up to hotel area, beautiful pool. The pool was nice and whiskey tower. The hotel rooms were horrible if you have stayed at a 1-2 star hotel you understand what I mean. I would not have stayed except wedrove a few hours to resort. The rooms are run down the mattress had to be as old as the hotel. They had huge tubs making ithard to get in shower. When I asked staff if all rooms like that she said yes except villa. They must get many complaints ofrooms because there was no apology only defensiveness. Even the walls walking to room are dirty and chipped. It doesn?t takemuch for updating if it?s done on a regular basis.
The hospitality here especially front desk girls are amazing. So super friendly outgoing really make you feel welcome. Resort itself fun been coming here since 1998. Only wish is they budget for state of the art fitness center. No treadmills at all nit?s scary down there lol. Game room needs facelift. Tower lounge is awesome. Loved it!! Grounds are spotless n lot staff seeworking hard. Be back for another 25 years ????. My 60th birthday couldn?t have been better.
Positive: The pool was amazing! Lots of activities Labor Day weekend for families. Negative: The rooms were very dimly lit. We could barely see, even with the with all the lamps on and window shade open. Rooms could be updated for sure. The game room wasalso in need of an upgrade, even though it said it had recently been updated.
I'm a multi million mile flyer, stayed in hundreds of hotels around the globe. Not sure what other rooms are like, but the Tower Suites are superb. Don't expect a Hilton or Marriott Resort, but the suites were very nice. Service was great, staff wasattentive and communicated with us well during our stay.
