I was very disappointed with the manager's response regarding a mix-up with my order. The item I ordered and paid for was completely different from what I received. After realizing the mistake, I called the restaurant, which is 45 minutes away from my home. The gentleman I spoke with was apologetic and asked if I would be in the area the next day; he offered to let me pick up the correct order. I thought that was a reasonable solution. However, when I called back the following evening, he informed me that his manager had decided they could only issue a $2 credit. I was taken aback by this response. I told him to keep the $2 and conveyed that this experience had cost them a customer.

Worth the trip but be prepared. The pros: great tasting food for the price. Food is definitely cooked with a good hand. Fish curry was really delicious. The cons: typical Indian politics. The waiter forgets all about the people at the table and you have to hunt him down to get a water refill or extra napkins or the bill. We are not in India, time to get it together and level up on the wait staff service. Improve the customer service and you will get increased business. Lunch was a 45 minute wait for the food to appear of which I saw the waiter once in 45 minutes. I?d think twice about going again.

We used to order from here frequently and always enjoyed our meals. However, recently, we've noticed that the portion sizes have shrunk significantly—there's hardly any meat, just a lot of sauce, and the rice containers that come with the meals are only half full. I understand that food prices have gone up, but if that's the case, consider raising your prices a little while still providing a satisfying meal. It's frustrating to spend nearly $100 on a family dinner only to find that all the rice packs are half empty.

The food at Tanjore is phenomenal! Just ordered takeout for the first time. The flavor and portion sizes are excellent! I have been searching for good authentic Indian food for years now (I worked in an Indian restaurant about 8 years ago that was very expensive and high quality . Will definitely be checking out the buffet, having a date night here, and ordering takeout again soon! (My fiance forgot to tip when he picked up our food, so I will be leaving a large tip next time we go here. Highly recommend!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

I tried Tanjore and wow i was surprised. The workers were nice and the atmosphere was nice too. They were actually just wrapping up the buffet but i placed a to go order. Tikka chicken masala, mango chutney, lasoni gobi, masala dosa and garlic naan. It was all very good and I will definatly be back ??

Absolutely loved the buffet on weekends. Delicious and authentic Indian food in Hudson valley. Food is so fresh and less oily. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for healthy meal as food is less oily and tasty.

The restaurant has a clean atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great buffet selection. As a vegetarian, I found plenty of options to enjoy. The standout dish, without a doubt, was the daal, which is shown in the picture below.
