We hadn 't planned on going into the town, so we had a bit of a wander and happened across Tantaluna. Despite us not having booked a table the friendly and accommodating staff managed to find us a slot and squeezed us in. First of all, the descriptions of the specials from our waiter were like a meal in itself, and I mean that in a good way they should sell CDs of just him describing dishes. Food choices done, and a nice bottle of wine recommended and we were off! We were given little amuse bouches of watermelon gazpacho with balsamic and croutons while we waited for our starters, and while they didn 't appeal to all of us (surprised me, I didn 't think I liked watermelon but I enjoyed it it...
I was really disappointed with the lack of customer care where the owner/manager seemed focused around profit opposed to customer service. I had booked a table for 4 for my family. Upon arrival the restaurant had 2 tables of 4 vacant and so we asked for the one more inwards to shelter from the strong breeze you experience in the alley . We were told was not available. This I thought was fair enough although couldn’t understand why this was the case unless other group of 4 had specified that table. I am aware restaurant sit groups on the outer tables first so looks busy all time for passing trade. So we sat down and the manager twice rearranged the configuration to a 5 and then a 7 to accommo...

Fuimos muy bienvenidos. el restaurante es muy “italiano” que a menudo es una prenda de excelente cocina. Pedimos una red de atún "Titaki Road" por desgracia un poco demasiado cocinado y un magreto de pato, que no era en absoluto servido como estaba planeado. nuestra observación al final de la comida no fue tomada en serio. I've been eating a few days ago with my husband, we've been living for years in corralejo, our son has advised us several times to go there to eat, had, we've gone and I have to say that it was a pleasant surprise, it's the first restaurant that makes dishes completely different from the usual, they're specialties, a delight for the palate and also for the view, presented impeccably, the staff is very friendly and very little, compliments to all staff
tantaluna remains one of my favourite restaurants in absolute: every time I go back to corralejo this is a must. The first time, years ago, I came to nights in days. this time, in days, and only because the first nights, without having booked, there was too much waiting for a table. Everything deserves compliments, from scatting to the quality of food, without forgetting the service always very attentive and courteous. To try!
Muy caro y todavía con hambre. Pedimos el Pecho de Pato y nos dijeron que era muy grande y para 2 personas. Pensamos que estaría bien. 32 euros por 2. No era un gran pecho de pato y, aunque el puré de batata estaba muy sabroso, apenas conseguías un par de bocados con el tenedor. La comida estaba buena pero nada especial. Hemos comido mucho mejor por mucho menos justo en el puerto. Tuvimos que ir a por helado después de esto.
Este restaurante es para nosotros la principal atracción para visitar Corralejo y no nos decepcionó. A diferencia de los restaurantes habituales con sus extensos menús, Tantaluna tiene un menú pequeño que está superbamente cocinado y presentado. Seguimos regresando porque es, de lejos, el mejor restaurante en Corralejo.

Fui dos veces el año pasado y fue genial. Fui anoche y los estándares han bajado. El servicio fue muy lento y el menú limitado no había cambiado desde el año pasado. El pescado de mi esposa estaba frío y por €116 en la cuenta necesita ser especial. Por favor, recupera esa energía y entusiasmo. Sé que puedes.
