you hardly believe, yes in wittenberg you can experience the "old time", at least in tante emmas beer and cafe house. located directly on the market place, you do not look at the outside facade, which is hidden behind the door. the Christmas-like lighter chain could almost stop you from visiting. you get into the dining room, you're just amazed. the decoration meets what one expects from the name. even the controls are dressed accordingly. they are extremely friendly, without it acting. the best, the cake tastes excellent. also taste coffee and kakao. from other guests we could conclude that the normal food has tasted them as well. in any case, you should not miss this locality.
we visit 1-2 times a year our family near wittenberg and always we drive to the city wittenberg to eat at tante emma. this time we had even visited us, which we were ahead in the ears as great it is at tante emma. how embarrassing we were rejected this time so arrogantly, of course we should have booked but you can tell more kindly that you have no more to forgive. the question we ask ourselves is also whether we were rejected only because of the child car, as there were still a few tables without reservation notice and the view that the service has thrown on the child car has really spoken volumes. very sad, now we have to look for another favorite place in wittenberg!
when we have been there we have been met by staff whose english is not maybe the best one, but very friendly and willing to help you in choosing your meal. The very good thing I noticed is that it took a little bit to get my dish, ( around 15/20 minutes) and this to me means that they do have local house made food. Anyway, it tasted really great. PS do not forget to taste their cakes, really specials!
we were there with 17 people and didn't have much time since we had to be on time at the old city railway. the entire staff was extremely friendly and made our visit to the restaurant an experience. the food was freshly prepared and has kept us very mouthed. again quite many thanks for the fast and professional operation. we liked super

While the restaurant was busy there was no difficulty finding a place for lunch. The menu options were very good and the very tasty. The staff was helpful in explaining the contents of various menu options.

we at tante emma only ate and drank a little bit, but the very friendly service, the creative presentation of the local as well as the view into the menu motivate us to come back again.
friendly service, however the two ladies had an irritating shrille stimmlage. the salat looked out and tasted like finished salad from the super market cooler and probably it was too.
