Tante Maja - Reservar una mesa

I've visited the Aunt Maja one of the waitresses was so nice to translate several times. Excellent service, nice food, try the German food stuff! It's heavy but worth it! I love Horische! The boys and girls are nice, some of them speak...quite good English, one even translated the whole menu for me, found out she's studying English. The place is nice, the place is picturesque and the food will make you happy! I will come back for wheyzen and Horische!

I was here for lunch on a very nice sunny day/ Tables were available for outside seating downstairs and upstairs. Lunch Menu had daily specials. I had the schnitzel with Pepper sauce. the best was the French Fries I had in Germany, crisp. However the...ketchup was serviced in a small dish about a table spoon full........ Service was slow, unprofessional, shirt was out of the pants, he did not know my table number, maybe first day on the job.

So it’s on an expensive side but I say it with respect to other restaurants in Saarbrücken. In general if you are used to big cities then this place is inexpensive. The chicken I hear is very good. For vegetarians they have quite a few...options Pasta and flammkuchen and salads. The drinks are good. The ambience is awesome particularly on a sunny summer evening. Right in the middle of the city centre.

We visited twice on our recent visit, the staff are lovely...although it did take a while to be served to begin with but it was worth the wait! Once served the service was great and the food was amazing! We struggled with our German but...the staff helped. The prices are reasonable for the portions that you get, we would definitely recommend visiting!

The food was OK-ish, nothing to complain but nothing to make me scream wow We were a little bit upset that we had to wait too much for our food and we ordered simple things. But, if there is anything that would make me go...there again, that is the Apfelstrudel! Is really big, served with ice cream and it tastes great!

First time here we chose traditional local food which was good not very good , fast and speedy and reasonably priced. Service was fast, the place was packed and has a long tradition . The right place If you are hungry and look...for good food in the old town of Saarbrücken.

In the heart of saarbrucken center of activity a nice place with a home like feel service and a good variety of delicious food and massive portions with excellent value to what you pay, that place is a highly recommended restaurant to go to.

Slightly starved on a quite nice day found us inside at Tante Maja, the terrace on the market place was largely full. Service was friendly and we both enjoyed fresh tea and flammkuchen. Fine service, good food and at a reasonable price.

We went with a party of and they put us upstairs which sometimes can be an issue but was not in this case. Even though the restaurant was full, the food was served very fast and hot. The waitress was super helpful and friendly!

Arriving in Saarbrücken this was the first place we took a seat. For lunch. We ordered the antipasta teller and it was great. Absolutely worth it.
