Tapagria Spanish Tapas Restaurant

My husband and I dined here this evening. We were taken to a back room that lacked in ambience. Small tables. Uncomfortable chairs. We ordered tapas and a paella as well as wine. My wine came and was literally room temperature. I sent it back. It was returned to me lukewarm 30 minutes later. The waiters seemed stretched so when the appetizers came, they were literally just placed on the table with no description. Gambas ajillo came without bread. No one ever came by to ask how our first bites were. Paella Marisco was overwhelmed with paprika and overall lacklustre. We had to ask 3 times for lemons from different waiters. We ordered set dinner for 6, while I wonder how come some plates only 4 pieces in dishes that are not enough for us , we're 6 p . After we finished , the manager came to tell us that the chef made mistake on set dinner are only for 4 persons, and asked us to order more food if needed. The bill charged set dinner for 4. We're very appreciated his honesty. While the meantime, they are provided excellent food and services.

Lots of potential but sadly the service was terrible, and the ambiance just as bad. Nice decor but lights are bright, no shelter from doorway letting in cold air. We ordered a bottle of wine and 4 tapas selections, arrived at 7:25pm and one of our selections was already unavailable. Two food items arrived before the wine did. Recommend the jamon wrapped figs and the mushroom croquettes, lots of great options.

Amazing evening! Hamachi, jamon wrapped dates, calamari, garlic shrimp, charcuterie cheese, tapagria paella, brocollini, lychee sangria...wow! We would probably pass on the whole seabass and ribs next time...tasty but not value for money or as amazing as the other dishes. Service was impeccable, wait time was non existent for food and drinks and the entire evening was just wonderful. We will be back! Reserva una mesa ahora

Tapagria has always been a special place for me and my girfriend as the staff is always receptive and gentle, specially its manager Paulo whos service is flawless and gives the place its authentic Spanish/Portuguese touch. I came with my girlfriend as it was her birthday and we ordered the set menu for 2, 2 cocktails and a botttle of wine, every dish was good tasting. I cant wait to come back!

It's a great place for a date! Must tries in the hot tapas are the Mushroom croquettes and their beef empanadas. The beef literally melts in your mouth. My wife and I shared the Paella de Mariscos and had enough for lunch the next day. We enjoyed this dish quite a bit since we were craving seafood.

I had been here before for the tapas and loved the food. Once again, I returned for tapas and this time it was even better if that is possible. Personally, I like a little salt on the Pan con tomatos. Although the tapas are very pricey, I do like Tapagria and will return for the paella next time.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. The bone marrow (ask for extra bread) and garlic shrimp were delicious! The steak and chicken and paella was ok... lacked depth in flavour. The French toast was delicious! Service was ok. Waiters never came to check in periodically or ask how food was. Reserva una mesa ahora

The service was quick. We ordered 5 items and the servers kept them coming at a good pace. The food was delicious. We didn't have to wait long for our bill. I thought maybe they could have played some Christmas music since it was Christmas Day and I didn't see any decorations.

Had tapas selection of smoked sardines (too salty), grilled bone marrow (needed seasoning), paella negra (needed more saffron), and had to look for fruits in the Sangria. Service was great though
