Talk about the beaten path! We drove here from Franklin for the views and we were not disappointed. Very curvy roads to come here. We both ordered burgers and boys were glad we made it! Recommend the magnificent burgers. Hubby enjoyed those with mushrooms etc. and I ordered the with spirit pepper Jack cheese! Oh, my! We also shared our sides of baked Mac?n cheese the sweet potatories! Worth the ride! Nice sitting on the brook with umbrellas for shade. A little expensive for lunch, but worth it for quality and the view. I wish I could remember our server name. She was absolutely precious and very attentive. Recommend the ride and enjoy a great meal with a view. Or you can book a room at the attached lodge!

While doing some hiking with my father this past summer, this has been our new go to place when we get out and about; it?s a good little drive for us but so worth it, we have not been disappointed in anything we have eaten here by far! especially the carrot cake We we?re able to get a couple other family members to come with us one day and they were not disappointed. Some days their are some really cool cars parked for a view or to watch him drive by?. Cute gift shop inside, Dogs are welcome, Excellent scenery and all the staff are kind.

Wow!! This place is amazing. It was our first time here, the views are breathtaking! For starters get the trout nuggets, deep fried trout you can?t go wrong. For lunch we had sweat tea brined wings, Stella chicken sandwich and a chicken BLT, with a side of baked mac n cheese, the food was awesome! For dessert we had cheesecake and peanut butter pie. We will go back for another visit. Next time we will stay at the lodge.

We stayed here after visiting Fontana Dam and were very impressed by everything in this restaurant. It's nice, the food was great, the service was great. We sat at a table next to the river, which was absolutely wonderful. I had the Stella chicken sandwich and I really enjoyed it. I would recommend to everyone to visit the area

Here for dinner. The meal was fantastic, very recommend the Mountain Trout. There'll be a point when we're here. The whole building, shop, restaurant and tavern were beautiful and welcoming. Views of Deck we are excellent
