We became aware of the Römerhof through Google and there were consistently great reviews! I wanted to spend a nice evening for two with my husband! We were warmly welcomed and served very quickly, the first impression was very good. Unfortunately there was a large music box in one corner, which we thought was far too loud, but there were a lot of regulars sitting at the counter, so that might be ok for them their feelings vary! Unfortunately the food was a disappointment! My husband 's schnitzel was drowned in paprika sauce which only tasted like tomato paste, the fried potatoes were inedible, there 's no other way to describe it, they were tough and rubbery! We were just eating there and I have to say, 5* Plus, paprika schnitzel was great, my partner, schnitzel with dumplings and sauerkraut, super tasty all the waitresses were super friendly and nice, very accommodating, and were allowed in with our 2 dogs , that is not a given everywhere, we can only say, super great food and everyone is very friendly, especially in the Center Park where dogs are unfortunately not allowed to eat, so many thanks again to the team at Römerhof, we will be back, greetings from Muhrrhardt

On friday the 11th of october we went there for lunch. My husband, me and our 14 month old son. It was a nice atmosphere there. We ordered the spätzle for our son. He didn't want it, so my husband and i ate it. Just a hour later we got sick because of it. It is horrible to get food poisoning on our vacation, we were sick for four days. But we were grateful that our son did not eat it. It is quite a shame because the atmosphere and service were good and friendly staff.

Hello Melissa and the whole team. The four of us from Palatinate from Ludwigshafen went to eat with you twice during our weekend trip. You are a really great team. We received a very friendly welcome and had an excellent meal. Everything was freshly prepared, without finished products. Even the chicken nuggets for the children were homemade. Great breadings and delicious sauces. Overall it was a very nice stay.

I was visiting Saarland and ended up in the Römerhof by chance. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The staff very, very friendly and customer oriented. I strongly recommend it! I would love to come back on my next visit to Saarland. Keep it up!

T.A.P.P. I really liked the restaurants near Lake Bostal. I didn't know it yet. Next time I'll stay longer and eat something too.
