Taqueria at Coombs Market

The food is worth 4 stars, but add in the cozy semi-hidden atmosphere, and it takes it to 5 stars for me. Simple system, you walk up and order at the counter, then they'll call your number in about 10 min or so. Lots of Corona, and also a great selection of Mexican sodas, tons of flavors. Try the fruit punch! We had 3 soft tacos (fish and chicken were good, beef was so so), plus tried the nachos as well. All the food was tasty, and the 'medium' salsa was just the right level of spicy for us... Try it, you'll love it like we did! PS - it's a bit hidden away, you'll find it just before the Italian restaurant, if you're walking 'up' through the Coombs Country Market attraction. It's on your rig...

The 1 star ratings are WRONG. We were looking for a place to eat and followed our noses to the Taqueria. I ordered the Tres Tacos with tomatillo sauce, and my boyfriend had the burrito. We both got beef. The food was awesome! A little more spice than we're used to, but we loved it. Once you get past the heat you taste the flavour. It was a little on the expensive side, but all the food in Coombs is over priced. The chef/owner came by to check on us and ask how the food was, we were very impressed. We come from a large prairie city where this never happens. I wish we had a place as good as this at home!! We might drive back for another round!

Sitting outside under the shade of the huge tree listening to Mexican music eating food and drinking Corona. Life doesn't get much better. It was a bit of a wait to order and confusing because you're not sure if you sit down first or line up to order. We had the Tortilla Soup, fish taco and shrimp taco. Everything was delicious but the flour tortillas disintegrated which made eating the tacos really messy!The soup was tasty but also very salty. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for good eats in a casual setting.

Stopped for lunch and although the line was a bit long, the service was quick. We had our dog with us, was planning on getting our lunch to go, but they have a dog friendly dining area. Tacos were great. Very fresh, good flavour. Ceviche was a large portion and very good. Definitley recommend this stop. Reserva una mesa ahora

We live in Mexico so we know Mexican food. This was disgusting and not any where close to what I eat every day. The tortilla soup was dishwater, the tortillaswere the worst. They were made from Mesa flour not crushed corn. It was expensive and we could not eat this

Ordered the beef and chicken tacos. I was very disappointed in these. It was filling and that's about it. Staff was friendly (maybe to make up for the bad food) I didn't finish my meal. Wish I had gone to the pizza place instead

The woman taking orders was unusually snarky and unpleasant. The tacos were merely ok. Maybe she's just having a bad day but it ruined the meal for me. I won't be back.

Stopped in for tacos and beer last week. Good food for the price. Patio is really nice to soak up some sun and relax. Not too crowded but it was mid week. Check it out. Reserva una mesa ahora

Tried the fish, chicken, and vegetarian tacos. The fish and chicken were amazing, vegetarian I found a little bland. I'd definitely go back.

The food is absolutely delicious and in an outdoor environment it is a lovely way to spend the afternoon!
