A word of advice: arrive hungry. You won't regret it. We ordered fish tacos, braided short rib tacos, and pulled pork tacos, along with red chili soup and black tilapia topped with shrimp, mushrooms, and lobster cream sauce. The black tilapia was the best I've ever had—absolutely delicious—and the fish tacos made my stomach very happy. The soup was also quite tasty, and just a heads up: it comes packed with rice, beans, chili, and everything else, making a small bowl quite filling. As for the desserts (peanut butter cake and lime cheesecake), they were a bit too dense and sweet for my liking, especially after such a hearty meal, but we managed to finish them anyway. ... Food is simple and satisfying with perfect portion sizes ... queso with chorizo or queso del mar (has chorizo seafood) are excellent ... Nachos are some of the best ... but the taco selection is the best. You're going to take the extra mile to accommodate... I really like spicy things and asked about the hottest sauce they could offer... they made me a custom Jalepeno puree that cooked my mouth! Margaritas are good, not too sweet with enough (but not too much) tequila, reasonable prices... our favorite ringout!
As a Mexican, I was pleasantly surprised. Not your average Tex sex. The cook put some thoughts and research into real Mexican cuisine and came with an excellent menu. Everything's delicious. A weekly place for my family. Very recommended.
I've been a regular since they first opened. I absolutely love the fish tacos and the Texas margarita. The portions may be small, but they're really satisfying, and the atmosphere is delightful. Plus, the owner is fantastic!

Absolutely fantastic! The service was excellent. I was particularly impressed by the poise the servers maintained even during the busy times. Kudos to Andrew Hoppen for training them so effectively!
Great tacos! The salsa is bland, but the chips are nice and warm. Service was ok, but the taste of the tacos made up for any neglect
