DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!!!!!Although the outside of the building is very dull and boring, the inside is extremely colorful, alive and vibrant! Sometimes they have the CD Jukebox playing, giving it that Mexican restaurant feel right when you walk in.This place has every authentic Mexican plate you can think of and their proportions are more than satisfying! The super burritos are huge! The tacos are stuffed with meat! They have a decent amount of different meats to fulfill your meaty needs!!!! I live around the corner from this place and my favorite plate to order every time I come here is: the Super Nachos. You can never go wrong with Super Nachos.... Fresh guacamole, pico de gallo,...
really great garnel burrito with huge pieces well flavored garnels! order them in front and they bring the food in their table. I also got the aroz con pollo, which was also very tasty, but the garnelen burrito was definitely better imo. a non-frills type of space and there were parking spaces on the main road and the side of the building. there were a few salsa and topping options with both mild and very spicy options. many people made themselves to take, but they have seats inside and outside on the front. However, some people smoke outside not too far away, so if they are more sensitive or have asthma, it was not so pleasant.
Move over El Grullense, El Metate is my new favorite taqueria! They have the full self service chips and salsa bar along with the spicy pickled jalapenos and fresh sliced radishes. The tacos are much bigger and tastier and the super burrito is un Gordo! Plenty of seating and attentiveness. They even have some bottled beers.
excellent quality of carne asada. had the super nachos? delicious and filling. for the first time the customer was very satisfied. clean environment, a lot of seating and waiting was not bad at all. will definitely be back.

love you eat! had the shrimp tacos, fajitas and super deluxe quesadillas. each of them was delicious! so glad we found a great Mexican place close by. I wish they had mango jarritos. can't seem to find them everywhere.
The food is great! The menudo authentic, and the facilities clean and well attended. When you go to eat here be hungry! Portions are generous and prices good. #TheBrokerWithAHeart
This place never lets you down portions are great! Self serve chips, and salsas! Beer and sports. Out door seats easy to get on highway after, checks just about every box!
This is a great places to eat if your looking for what I call Mexican fast food it’s very good a little pricey they serve beer as well
