Taqueria La Pertita

The food was the best Mexican cuisine I've experienced in the area. The tortilla chip appetizer came with both red and green salsa, which was a delightful touch. The tacos were served in soft corn shells and were generously filled. I appreciated that the tacos were sold individually, allowing for a mix of different fillings on the same plate. The fajita taco salad was also served in ample portions. There was a good selection of traditional beverages along with American sodas. A kids' menu was available, featuring options like chicken nuggets, fries, and hamburgers. Although the restaurant was busy, the service was prompt, polite, and accurate.

I am writing this review while sitting in the restaurant because I might forget to review this exceptional place. The food here is very authentic and the attention to detail with the presentation, spices, and taste are above any other mexican restaurant around. This is a family owned restaurant so their heart and soul go into making the food and boy you can tell. I will definitely start eating here more often. Very highly recommended.

If you're in search of a fancy restaurant, this isn't it. However, if you want delicious, authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price, you've found the right spot. College students come from all over the area just for their tacos. The food is expertly prepared by those who truly understand what Mexican cuisine should taste like! This is one of my favorite spots for street tacos. The staff is friendly and efficient, and they seem to have a strong moral character. Excellent service, delicious food, and affordable prices! This authentic family-owned restaurant is a gem. The interior is quite cozy, but it's absolutely worth a visit. It's the best Mexican food I've had in a long time!

It's rare to find al pastor in a lot of Mexican places, so it's my go-to whenever I see it. Pretty decent here. Nice wait staff, and unbelievably fast at 11:50a. Also, Mexican Coke products in a glass bottle.
