Ok. So, ONE OR MORE of the following is absolutely true: A This place is COMPLETELY overrated, and isn 't very good. B I had a one off, bad experience. C I have different expectations compared to my formerly fellow Terra Bellans (Terra Bellians? and other reviewers of this truck. I 've eaten here once, at the fevered suggestions of family just down the road. The truck was moderately busy, it was pretty early in the evening, and everything seemed to be running like a normal business; Meaning there was nothing obvious going on that would make you think your food is going to be anything other than how this place would normally serve it. A really good whole in the wall joint. Not open on mondays and even if you spend more than $5 using a CC (look at photos I took), they charge you a 50 cent CC fee which is NOT mentioned anywhere on their truck. Located next to a tiny market, there isn't ample parking but parking isn't an issue. I order some tacos and my tacos came out piping hot... burnt my tongue. I love that it's hot! Al pastor was good and flavorful but they put too much seasoning making it really salty. Carne asada was very well marinaded. La lengua was really good! This place is THE BEST. Not only are the tacos fresh and delicious, the people that run this taco stand are genuinely friendly, and customer oriented. I am a regular customer at their market and they treat everyone like family. Ever get a Hello. How are you? when you walk in the door of Sav-Mart or Food For Less? Well, that 's what you get here. For a small market they don 't get the same bulk pricing on supplies like the big markets do. Yet they strive to keep prices low for their customers rather than make a huge profit like some others. Literally the ABSOLUTE BEST TACOS I HAVE EVER HAD! I live in Bakersfield and will start driving up to Terra Bella a lot more in the summer and we wanted to find a good place to get lunch while we were out there... and there are NOT many places to eat there but man this place... just amazing. The best flavor ever and their tortillas are warmed in oil so they are slightly crispy. We had 2 Asada tacos, 3 Cavesa tacos, 2 Lengua tacos and a ceviche tostada. Guess how much? Nope, $10.50! Best believe I will be driving 45min for tacos from now on. They do have outdoor seating, they take card but you have to pay inside the liquor store, and lots of parking.

Had a bad feeling when i saw all the flies around the food truck i picked thru my food and i was right there was a dead fly in my meal.
