From the very first bite of the burrito, I could tell this place was special. Tucked away in a seemingly random part of San Bruno, Taqueria San Bruno offers a no-frills dining experience with incredibly fresh ingredients, along with complimentary chips and salsa. The overall quality of the food and service is top-notch. While you’ll have to wait about 30 minutes for your meal, it is definitely worth the wait. I tried the carne asada regular burrito, dorado style, and it was outstanding. The carne asada was perfectly grilled, juicy, and smoky, served in generous chunks. I would personally skip the rice next time, but I highly recommend trying it with their green salsa.
I chose this restaurant based on previous reviews, and here’s my candid opinion: 1) It's a small, gritty spot situated next to an auto garage, with only two parking spaces available. 2) I waited 32 minutes for just one burrito. 3) If you enjoy tough gristle in your carne asada and are okay with the possibility of an upset stomach afterward, then Taqueria San Bruno is the place for you. On a positive note, the service was decent.
I've been coming here for 5 years. It never disappoints. The portion sizes are huge but every bite is high quality. I love their shrimp tacos, but you really can't go wrong with any items on the menu
This place is absolutely fantastic, great food great service. I hope to see this place around for many more years to come as I enjoy stopping in on my yearly work trips in the area.

All I can say is to never judge a book by its cover! The tacos were absolutely divine! A Michelin star is well deserved!
Small local taqueria serving up great vibes and tasty food. My husband and I especially loved the salsa bar!
