It was our first time at Tarantelli's and we went to celebrate my husband's birthday. I'm glad I made a reservation because they were booked solid from 5pm to 9:15pm on a Saturday. Nicole was our server and she was delightful and welcoming. Our food was fresh and absolutely delicious. My husband got the special which was four cheese ravioli with sausage and veggies in a creamy sauce. I got the filet with asparagus and broccoli rabe. Our appetizer was the filet bruschetta and was the best! Highly recommend and will be coming back.
A nice restaurant that imagines itself to be a great restaurant. Overall, the food was tasty, but there were a few misses, that for me, did not justify the higher that average prices. My spaghetti was slightly overcooked, the meatballs were good, but not noteworthy, and their version of a tiramisu missed the mark completely. Drinks were good and reasonable priced, the location is great, and parking is plentiful. It was fine, but on a value-based scale, it was a disappointment.
The food was very good and plentiful, though expensive. The waiter was exceptional, and the pappardelle with mushrooms was excellent. The veal piccata was too lemony. The wine was nice, with a generous serving. Overall all six of us were pleased with the food and would return again for special occasions. Personally, I would like to see more sound-proofing to bring the noise level down quite a bit. Putting tapestries or other fabric on the walls would help a lot.
Saw this recommended in Southern Living Magazine and did not disappoint! Authentic Italian where they make their own noodles and garlic knots. Our server (friendly and attentive), food (big portions, so delicious), ambience was on point (little candles for extra lighting in the interior brick walls). What a great restaurant! We are not from the area and found this restaurant on line. We took a chance, and were rewarded with a fabulous Italian restaurant. The Arancini balls and Wagyu beef appetizer were awesome. The pasta and steaks were so so good. Our server from Long Island was excellent and very fun! We highly recommend this restaurant!
