This is my favourite ramen shop in Brisbane. Best broths, so delicious, so many options, full customisation of every bowl available. Sides are dope as well. Gyoza and the sliced rare beef are delicious. I crave their ramen every week and have to try and make it there at least every second week. Definitely try some different types of ramen until you find your perfect one. My favourite is the shoyu with a tad of chilli oil and an extra egg. So good. Staff there are also awesome and helpful, service is quick and the restaurant can get busy but I've never reserved a table and max I've had to wait is 10 minutes. So good, if you like ramen you need to try Taro on racecourse road! Best ramen in Bri...
Very small and casual place but Taro's ramen is excellent !Not only the taste but also fresh ingredients, no MSG, no preservatives.I come here quite often and usually have my favourite Tonkotsu ramen.But today, I saw the May special in the menu ... " Hawaiian Junk Ramen " !Tonkotsu Ramen + garlic butter + Parmesan cheese.Super rich & tasty .... So good ! I love it so much !Hope they keep this menu for long time.And yummy juicy pork gyoza.No wonder, this restaurant is so popular and always full .Very reasonable price and friendly Japanese service.Highly recommend for casual lunch !
A casual little cafe that feels very authentic - it's easy to forget that you're in the inner suburbs of Brisbane and not some dingy Tokyo backstreet. The decor is basic with serve yourself condiments and the staff and bustling with both dine in and take-away orders. The FOOD however is incredible. Steaming hot delicious ramen, fresh yum cha and its even licensed (yey). Ordering is done via an iPad on each table and food comes out quickly. I'm going to throw it out there as the best ramen in Brisbane!
Taro's ramen is made with genuine pride, love and passion. The stock is thick, rich and porky. The hand made noodles are chewy and cooked to perfection. A lot of thought and care has gone into sourcing and selecting the ingredients - and the result is an amazing bowl of ramen albeit a little pricey.

So the ambiance of the restaurant and the staff were great but I just did not enjoy the flavouring of this particular ramen. The bitterness of the green bean sprouts conflicted with the overall taste.
It's quick and decent meal. The eggs are great - get an extra one. The broth is really nice, the ramen is cooked al dente. The portion however is quite small - not enough for dinner.
We ordered Kara salad rice???? and Fire Tonkotsu Ramen ???? ???? we felt like we were in Japan ???????? loved it. Highly recommend this place if you miss Japanese food

Order lunch from them the Pork Ramen are the best full of taste and hot. Best Ramen in the area. Also the tofu also nice too must try. Nice staff and quick service
The tonkatsu is amazing!
This is one of my go to places when I want something to warm me up or want something homely!
I would recommend to anyone!
