Tasquinha Da Paula

My partner and I ate here several times during our stay in Tavira (July 2023). The food is wonderful, and the service also. There are tavle inside, and outside on a very quiet road. Paula Luis, run this wonderful little restaurant all by themselves; which in itself is amazing. We had the (shelled) prawns in garlic, and the homemade meatballs were very tasty also. You can rock up here for Tapas, or a meal you will be very happy either way. There are also daily specials; that Luis also recites well in several languages. We've been travelling to the Algarve for over 30 years and what we had today for lunch was some of the best we've eaten in Portugal. 2 starters, 3 main courses from the daily specials, 3 home-made desserts, 7 bottles of beer and a double coffee came to €81. Paula and Luis were very welcoming and spoke to us like old friends. Paula even sharing some of her recipes. Considering this was our first ever visit . It speaks volumes about their friendliness that they spent so much time chatting. It maybe small but it packs a punch in terms of value and quality. Portuguese food and hospitality at it's very best. We've already booked our next two meals.

le patron préside dans le petit salon du restaurant et explique les plats de la journée proposée. des plats préparés par sa femme. une jolie serveuse est divisée entre les deux tables de l'extérieur, trottoir, et la chambre en pois. savoureuse cuisine et ajout pas trop haut... mais évidemment limité choix.

Pequeno restaurante muito acolhedor. Pratos deliciosos e proprietário com um sentido de boas-vindas europeu. Comida caseira tradicional. Fala francês muito bem. Eu recomendo

Excelente acolhimento por parte do proprietário que nos ofereceu os seus pratos tipicamente portugueses. Excelente cozinha, nós nos divertimos.
