This place has open kitchen concept which I loved with a lot of windows for sunlight. Staff is very friendly, I thought I soup was great and liked my main dish, but I did think chicken was bit dry. Thing that's different about this place is that you decide the price of your food, and its an none profit. So you can pay only whatever you can afford, whatever you think it cost and if you can spare little extra. I really love the concept of this restaurant SO much, and didn't know until I was paying that there was some homeless people eating around us. I will support this however I can.
Went in with a friend that said she was hungry and we only had a couple dollars to our name....we got tea and bacon, eggs and toast and the people were amazing, especially the staff (whom I believe are all volunteers if I 'm not mistaken) . Have recommended it to friends as it 's a pay-what-you-can place, so the menu doesn 't have prices listed by anything....truly a unique experience that everyone should enjoy. Kid-friendliness: As I 've stated before, they make EVERYONE feel welcome. Absolutely amazing experience.
Horrible experience. As a long time customer, the restaurant grew into a great community business, however, lately it's been not nice to black customers. The service was horrible. I got thrown out because I couldn't identify the food and left starved and forced to pay for not eating. Few people has said this place shows racism to black customers. Service: Dine in

The absolute best eggs Benedict I have ever had! Thank you to the chef for an outstanding dish! Food today was incredibly awesome, the staff was so friendly and Julie Cramer was the best waitress EVER!

We had an excellent meal. Our volunteer servers did a great job as well. I loved the watermelon gazpacho. I love this idea and we will be back!
