Taste Of Chennai Reservoir

I have visited this restaurant four to five times now, and I can confidently say that I will be returning many more times in the future. It is a hidden gem located among the groceries they also sell. I have tried several different dosas, but my favorites are the Mysore Masala Dosa, which is spicy, garlicky, and incredibly delicious, and the Navrathna Dosa, which is cheesy, full of vegetables, and very appetizing. I always chat with the friendly chef, who is very passionate about the food he prepares. I hope I captured the deliciousness in my review, but sometimes you just have to take a leap and try new things.

We ordered the Egg Kothu Puratha, onion masala thosai, Vadai (was not only NOT soggy as it would have been elsewhere but also HOT-made fresh! , Onion pakoda, masala tea and Gulab jamun to finish this yummy dinner! The food was tasty and well cooked. So much so we couldn’t resist a take away item! The service was great! Everything was just like it tasted in Chennai. The servings were appropriate and to top it off, it is affordable! For my first time eating in this restaurant, I’ll def be back. Thanks guys!

Thosai was good. It was made fresh upon order. The chutneys and sambar were also very fresh unlike most Indian restaurants. Puri was good and the potato masala that came with it was excellent. Coffee was good too. Waitress who works in the evening shift is friendly and explains the menu well. Owner and his wife are a very friendly couple and I had a good chat as well as a good meal. Have done both dine in and takeaway and highly recommend this vegetarian restaurant.

Amazing food for an amazing price and the serve is plentiful. <br/ <br/ Based inside an Indian grocer, so it was an unexpected surprise when there was a full menu as well that’s all vegetarian. <br/ <br/ After I left it left a great flavour for a long time afterwards leaving me wanting more even though I cannot move with the amount I ate. <br/ <br/ The depth of flavour is what I’ve been missing in the Bundoora region. Best place to have an authentic taste of South Indian special dosa. I had heard a lot about this place from many people so went to try it myself. I ordered Mysore Masala Dosa. This dosa had a soft texture with spicy chutney and delicious filling inside. I would highly recommend everyone to once go and try this place and next time you would not need my recommendation.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Despite not knowing much at first, we had a wonderful server who explained everything and gave us great recommendations. Chefs special dosa must eaten food in this place we went through many varieties of dosas, but when we visited this restaurant, that dosa which was suggested by the chef there made my day. It was extremely good and tasty #ChefsSpecialDosa

The best ever south indian cuisine, anyone live near Preston or Epping this is an excellent deal. Highly recommended the filter coffee, chicken briyani and uttapam. It was so delicious Reserva una mesa ahora
