Absolute disgrace. No secure practices in place. Watched the owner wipe crumbs off the table with a dirty cloth no disinfectant and reused the side plates that the previous people didn't use. Waited an hour for poppadoms, never mind the starter. The...table next to us walked out after minutes of waiting to be asked for their drinks order!! we followed and then another group left too. the poor young lads said people are walking out every night. Apparently the owners prioritise the takeaway orders instead. Been a good customer for years but wont be going back ... or ordering takeaways after seeing the state of the kitchen.
we booked a table, but the place was empty when we arrived shortly. the waiter was very friendly and helpful and refreshingly limited in his English. the place itself could do something with the bleeding. we ordered Pappadums,...dann lamb rogun josh and chicken tikka passanda. both were excellent, the lick and delicate. we usually don't eat so early, so we asked a few who did it for us. good.
I ordered takeaway from this restaurant and was disappointed to find that one dish was missing when it arrived, so I had to reorder. When I called to request a refund for the missing dish, I was shocked by the response. The garlic naan was burnt and not edible, and there was no meat in the main dishes. I was very upset considering the amount I paid, and the meal was only fit for the bin.
My husband and I have been here this evening for an anniversary meal. The food was outstanding, piping hot freshly served and delicious. What made the evening for us was the staff. A gentleman and lady were there to greet us, take our order, ask...how long we would like to wait between starter and main etc. Lovelt friendly service. We will be returning

We will def be back to this restaurant, food was amazing. Really tasty and service was excellent. Really seemed nice genuine people. Totally went above and beyond for customer Service when we couldn’t get a taxi so the owner took us in his car (only...around the corner, but I couldn’t walk in heels) Such a lovely end to an amazing day in Darlington.
We went to this restaurant for takeout for the first time and were welcomed warmly, even though we were in work clothes. The staff treated us respectfully, the food was served quickly and was delicious. It was also great value for the money. We will definitely be returning.

My son and I arrived very late in the evening and despite this were given a warm welcome, the food arrived promptly was perfectly cooked, tasty and good value.

last night after the return of middlesbrough, excellent eating and great service would recommend this curry house
consistently nice eating, beautiful family operation and fantastic service. highly recommended and worth a visit.
