Taste Of Smithfield

We had a nice visit to Taste of Smithfield. Food was good, staff were friendly, bathrooms were clean. Two small things: no host was present and three groups piled up at the door. Staff did greet us eventually but the server and host were not very fast at seating us, taking our order, or getting us drinks. It was around 2 pm and the lunch rush was over. The food did arrive quickly.

Stopped in on a Tuesday night for bite after a long day. The host seated us quickly with a friendly greeting. The server was friendly and humorous serving us quickly and checking on us several times. I ordered the Southern Pork Gent, a thick cut pork chop that was tender and juicy and served on a roll. Perfect.

Reuben sandwich for one sister and clubs for the other and I. The club sandwiches had ham and turkey and bacon. They were thick and delicious. My coffee was nice and strong. If you like a pork-centric dinner place then you will have come to the right place. Good menu options, good food, plus a bar and a little gift shop with Smithfield brand foods and gift items. Midway down the charming Smithfield Main Street it is worth checking out!
