I’ve rated before but not much has changed. Well maybe the change is it has slid down hill. Hoagies are still mediocre to good. Problem is the meat is low budget with bland flavor. The bread is pretty much the same mediocre needs to be bread that will not get immediately soggy from condiments and not so much like plain old white bread. The topper was one of the young workers had headphones on from the time I ordered until I paid. Not a thank you or any interaction.Unfortunately I will most likely be going to Jersey Mikes when it open s in Lawrence shopping center.
If you are searching for a very mediocre, actually below average, Italian hoagie, then this is the place to go. The bread is not good, the sandwich is put together carelessly, and lacks in flavor. In my opinion, the quality of a sandwich shop can be judged by their Italian hoagie, and this place does not meet the standard. However, I understand that there may be an emotional connection for some people with this type of establishment, but there are much better options in the area.
I attempted to place an order over the phone about an hour before closing time, but the restaurant did not answer. This has happened to me three times now. I am confused as to why they would not pick up if they are still open for another hour.
The subs are consistently fantastic, but there's room for improvement in the customer service skills of the younger staff. While it's important to remember they are still learning, there's potential for them to do better.

gone down hill of late. sandhwichs neve made right over seasoned or under seasoned. workers more content to listening to music on head phones than making a good sandwich
With every comes nostalgia. Grew up going to this location and enjoying their subs way too often. Parking: Parking in the front could be missed if not paying attention.
The subs are some of the freshest around. Good size and variety. If it’s busy the line can substantial. The atmosphere could be improved but the subs are the focus.
Places not much to look at but it sure does have some great hoagies. Yeah I said hoagies what are you gonna do about it?
