When this restaurant first opened, the food was really good. However, I've noticed that the owner has started to cut costs by using lower-quality ingredients and pre-making dishes instead of preparing fresh meals for customers. He tends to be quite stingy with sauces and cheese on the pizzas. The potato wedges are often undercooked, and the beef patties can be burned. While the owner himself is genuinely nice, he seems overly focused on saving money, yet he charges premium prices. Unfortunately, I don’t think this restaurant will survive, especially in Westgate Mall, as the food just isn’t worth the prices being asked.
The management of the restaurant has partnered with a company called Too Good To Go, which allows customers to purchase items that would otherwise be thrown away through their app. I downloaded the app today and placed my order, receiving a pickup time of 5:30 PM. However, when I arrived at 5:30, my order had been canceled. The attendant behind the counter explained that orders are sometimes canceled for unspecified reasons. He also mentioned that he couldn't sell me any of the food available because someone was scheduled to come by at the end of the day to collect all the unsold items.
I ordered this through DoorDash and spent $30, but I was very disappointed. First of all, the pizza was not good. It was greasy and reminiscent of school lunch pizza. Secondly, the wings in the picture were not what I received. They weren't cooked properly and seemed to have been fried in old grease; they smelled, looked, and tasted terrible! I won't be ordering from here again!
