I've visited this restaurant twice—once shortly after moving to the area and again more recently. On both occasions, I was seated right away. The restaurant has a limited number of tables and seems to rely more on delivery services and takeout. I chose to dine in both times and had a fantastic experience. During my first visit, I ordered the crispy duck, which was absolutely delicious, along with some chicken satay that I also enjoyed. On my second visit, I had a red chicken curry with spring rolls, and I loved every bite. The prices are similar to other Thai restaurants in the area. This review has been a long time coming. Be cautious about being overcharged at this restaurant. I picked up my order, and when an employee processed my card, she then claimed it didn't go through and asked me to pay in cash or with a different card. I ended up paying in cash. Later, I discovered that my card was actually charged for the full amount. I called the owner to inform her about the double charge and requested a refund. Unfortunately, the owner was quite rude and refused to issue any refund.
It 's been months of waiting after that little green sign appeared in the window announcing Thai food opening soon, just days before the first lockdown order went into effect. Let me say unequivocally: the wait was worth it. The mango duck dish was a big letdown. I never expected the most expensive item on the menu to taste so bad. The duck was incredibly dry, as if it had been cooked two days earlier. Truly delighted as a food blogger #chinoeats I really didn't expect such an amazing experience. The Creamy Tom Tum soup, sweet and sour Shrimp soup with lemongrass, Thai herbs, mushrooms, bell peppers and cherry tomatoes was pit of this world! Even my kids loves it, the Thai tea is a must have, totally recommend it!
Great to have a great new authentic Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. We tried the drunken noodle, green curry (both hot spice) and the mango sticky rice for dessert. The main dishes had great balance of spicy, sweet and sour flavors. We look forward to returning soon.
