Tasty Tomato Italian Eatery

I don’t normally take the time to review places, but my experience here tonight was so wonderful I just had to give a shout out. I had a friend in town with her two littles, and I’d been wanting to try Tasty Tomato for a while, so that’s where we went. I had a glass of house white, the Insalata Mista (salad), and one of their pasta specials; a generous seafood mix. The rest of the table had similar. They started us off with ice water and classic focaccia with olive oil and balsamic. I’m pretty sure the bread was house made as well. This was my first experience. While I really wanted to leave a 5 star review, a few things needed improvement. To start, I had an incredible Insalata Caprese. Featured photos. Easily the best I've had both in flavor and in presentation. Great work chef!! I am Celiac so I had the gluten free pasta in the seafood Alfredo sauce. I requested a notch more garlic. The dish came out and it was incredible. Absolutely I would order this again. The fallen star come to the dessert. Sadly the gelato portions are very small and very high priced. As the photos well show we were hungry! The bruschetta is like no other in town, so tasty on a pizza bread so easy to devour with that addictive garlic tomato blend. If you like mussels the tomato Gorgonzola sauce makes you reach for the bread to soak it up! As for the two linguine dishes well all I can say we’ll be back soon. Very friendly staff great service!!

We have been going here for over 20 years and it is still our favorite Italian restaurant! Joe and his staff graciously accommodated us and our kids' baseball team with very short notice! Thank you and we will be back whenever we are in town! Reserva una mesa ahora

Tasty Tomato was in fact tasty! I really enjoyed the calamari! The sauce was delicious and the calamari tasted fresh. The fettuccine was also great! I enjoyed it thoroughly! Great local Italian spot to check out!

Delicioso! Very fresh, comforting food. Really really tasty. Looking forward to going back. Just a little echo-y in there and conversation is a bit challenging so 4 stars.

Tasty Tomato is a staple of West Edmonton and for good reason! This family owned business is a perfect example of what good Italian food should be.

Went to this place after looking it up and it was great Primavera was amazing with the spices us and I added a couple of meatballs to kick it up a Reserva una mesa ahora
