My husband says this place is 5 stars, but dont get the sea urchin ???? Everything here is fresh and delicious.... Unless of course you dont like the kind of food you order.... Which is what happened to my husband. He decided to try something new andregretted it immediately, not because it wasnt prepared properly or anything... Just because its... Well... SeaUrchin. Everything here is excellent and the staff is great and the prices are fair. The atmosphere is really nice too.
Tatami Sushi consistently serves top-notch, delicious food. We usually enjoy the gyoza, a specialty roll, and the beef udon noodles. My husband, who has traveled to Japan, says this is the most authentic sushi restaurant in the area, especially when it comes to their menu.
Tatami undoubtedly offers the best sushi on the South Shore. The food is fresh and light, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The owner, Z, really goes above and beyond, and I highly recommend him and Tatami.

The head chef came out to greet us. Amazing food, tried stuff I would never order and this experience actually changed my perspective. Looking forward to eating here again and trying new stuff
My family and I go there often. Staff are wonderful, the food is great and they know exactly what we are looking for. They are also super nice to my kids and make them feel welcome.
This is a fantastic little restaurant with excellent service. Although the seating area is small, the experience is well worth it because the food is outstanding.

Tatami has been our favorite sushi spot since day one. We’ve never had a bad meal, and we always anticipate the warm welcome from the friendly staff!
