Cosy, dark bar hidden under 4th St. Loved the vibe and carried the inventory behind the bar! On a whine we just stopped when we had time before dinner and I'm glad I brought myself back to taste after a long time. It's like being a bar, lots of alcohol, variety, all their house mixers and bitters made. And all the necessary cocktails! I had a gin and tonic first and they have the hard to find Empress Gin! One of my favorite cocktail bars in the Triad! Tate's has a little bit of everything. Amazing bartenders, cozy and eclectic ambiance, and well balanced cocktails. Located off of 4th St, is Tates a cocktail bar that reminds me of something in NYC or Nashville. Their menu is diverse and includes different types of drinks for everyone but I like to stick to some classics. One of the few places who knows how to make a delicious Monte Carlo! Also, if you can catch them on a day where they've just gotten a new shipment in, you may see some fun and rare whiskeys.
This is my favorite bar in town. They craft fantastic and unique cocktails, and the staff is encouraged to get creative with their mixology. They also have the best whiskey selection and expertise in the area! The atmosphere they've created is so welcoming that even during peak hours, it still feels comfortable. Plus, the restrooms are always clean and well-stocked. Each of the bartenders and barbacks is wonderful, making every visit a great experience.

The cocktails here are fantastic, and the bartenders really know their craft. There's a wide variety of high-quality liquors available. It's a lovely spot to relax and socialize with friends in a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy good company and drinks. Been 3 times. Great location on weekends and weekdays. Good selection of wine, beer, and spirits. Have some pretty good live music that comes in to play.My ONLY complaint is that they don't have pisco. I know pisco is an abnormal liquor to carry but if anywhere in W-S would carry Pisco, it would be Tate's.
