Easily one of better Bar and Grills I've ever went to, the menu is varied and everything is delicious. I highly suggest the wings, the sauce is amazing and are exactly how wings should be, deep-fried, flavorful, and slathered in sauce. The homemade chili is amazing and great alongside the wings, it's chunky, with bits of meat inside but not too chunky to take you out of its flavorful vibe. I've also got to mention the vibe and setting of the overall restaurant, it feels extremely homie and local, the staff is polite and kind, also talkative, something I enjoy. I went there for the first time on the advice of and as a guest of my son. I ordered a mushroom swiss hamburger. The burger was cooked as I ordered it, but the beef tasted just a little bit off. Maybe it was just me. I will try it again soon. Everyone has a bad day, even the best of restaurants! I preferred the place better when it was the Roadhouse bar. Really great half pound ground round, and excellent pizza! Next time I try it, I'm sure I will give it a better review.

I was pleasantly surprised by Tavern 29... Last time I was there it was the road house and it looked dirty and was a lot to be desired... This experience was great.. Clean remolded good food good prices and a friendly happy staff... I will be back ????

Owner was a jerk. No one working there knew the difference between the chicken strips we ordered and the fish we were served. They said it was our fault the order way wrong. Haven’t been back in two years.
