Smaller menu, which led me to believe they focused on really making well what they offered, and I was right.I tried the General Tso, which was random and surprisingly good.I sat at the bar, and I’m pretty sure the waitress clocked out and never told me, so I just kind of sat there for 30 minutes. Would have liked to have tried dessert. But I wasn’t interested after the way. Just left here and I'm stuffed. I'm usually skeptical about the value you receive at medium priced restaurant in Boston but I was very pleased with this place.I ordered this blackened chicken pasta dish and it knocked my socks off. First, there was plenty of chicken in the dish. More importly the dish was a veritable parade of flavor. From the bold Cajun flavoring to the more subtle and earthy flavoring from the roasted peppers, onions, tomatoes, it was just a really, really tasty dish.To top it off, my server, Molly, was cheerful and attentive.I'm accused of being picky and hard to please but this experience gets two thumbs ?? up.
Pub food, however very good. Very good selection of beer on tap as well. Parking right across the street under the Boston Garden as well. I'm sure there was other parking perhaps a few bucks less but definitely not worth the driving around to find as well. I would recommend this place as it covered all the bases when it came to food, beer and convenience.
I have been coming to this particular Tavern in the Square, since week two of it's opening year.Great Staff, the Bartenders are amazing, and so is the management team, especially since I have known most of them for years. I am there every Sunday. Especially for football season.

Very friendly staff performed quite well for our large group. The menu is perfectly in line with what can be expected with this type of establishment close to a major sports venue. Nice outside terrace ... a real one .. not a sidewalk area.
Salad was not fresh, guacamole was bland. Good location. Quick service. Glad to have some tasty vegan options
Great food. Especially appreciated the large number of gluten free options. Service was very good.
We loved this place. The manager was so good with respect to my wife’s food allergies.
