since 1.1.2020 there is a new administration of taverna. the previous operator family had to give up at the end of 2019 for private and health reasons. the new management took over the menu and the cook so that eating did not change much: tasty and sufficient. the prices are in the rule between 10 and 20 €. the restaurant has 2 Greek dining rooms and a summer terrace, partly covered. the device was largely taken over. only the Greek-white-blue-cartated tablecloths (which somehow always reminded me of the NVA bed linen) were exchanged for identically patterned in white-green. I have been visiting this restaurant since I moved to Berlin with my wife and I must admit that this is the kind of experience I was literally waiting for! Owners are really inspiring people with enough energy to run the tavern, talk with you and to be amazingly friendly. And now about the food... We found this delightful restaurant after we biked around the Müggel lake on a Friday. Luckily we sat at the last available table in their charming outdoor setting as this eatery is very popular with the locals, make sure to book ahead. We received...an English menu and were perfectly looked after. Serving sizes are generous, so bring an appetite or share plates, as was recommended to us. We had mixed cold entrées (krios meses) and perfectly slow cooked lamb (exochiko). Delicious!
