Die Taverne Tichero liegt im schönen Rheingauviertel und am ehesten würde ich es als kleines, schnuckeliges, gemütliches und authentisches griechisches Restaurant bezeichnen. Es gibt wenige Tische und man sollte unbedingt reservieren um nicht vor Ort enttäuscht zu werden. Das Team nimmt Reservierung immer gerne und freundlich auf. Der Service, die Atmosphäre und die Qualität des Essens und der Weine ist wirklich hervorragend. Ich selbst war bereits mehrere Male dort und wurde bisher nie enttäuscht. Als Vierergruppe mit zwei Geburtstagskindern sind wir nach längerer Pause wieder dort gewesen und waren sehr zufrieden. Der Service ist aufmerksam und flexibel, die Gerichte auf der Tageskarte sehr ansprechend, es wurde mit Freude beraten und freundlich serviert. Offenbar hat der Inhaber gewechselt oder es ist die nächste Generation, auf jeden Fall war der gemischte Vorspeisenteller für 2 Personen für uns 4 so groß dass kaum Platz für die Hauptspeise blieb. I was brought to this restaurant by a friend who had tried for a years to get me to go with her. I finally gave in and now it is my go to restaurant to impress visitors and friends. It is definitely a smaller restaurant,...hidden within the city, but the family feeling is worth the effort. The service is friendly, warm and professional-the food hits the spot, everytime. The restaurant also offers greek wines that among recommendation can be paired with the food. Already looking forward to my next meal in the taverne.

Das Personal war freundlich und gut gelaunt. Sie kennen ihre Speisen und Weine sehr gut, sodass sie auf Nachfrage passende Empfehlungen geben können. Die vom Koch empfohlene Fischplatte war wirklich hervorragend :DAuch die Griechin in unserer Gruppe war begeistert.
