Tavolo Wine Tuscan Grille Warwick

I gave Tavolo an average rating because although the food was very good, the service was terrible. I waited at least five minutes for the host to show up to be seated. Our server barely paid any attention to us; he didn't even come by and ask how the food was or if we needed anything. And it was not very busy at all. The glass of wine I ordered came with a big piece of something floating in it and we had to ask another server to get our server to help us. I had to ask for salt and pepper also. I would recommend Tavolo to someone for the food, but not the service.

Honestly, this place probably does well because its next to TF green and the airport hotels. That is the only positive thing I can say. Wrong drinks, lipstick on the glassware. As far as food, the Oysters were returned after barely getting the first one down..the Steak frites were under done, relentlessly chewy, and covered in mayo. Another guest liked the stuffed cod. But 200$ for a 4 top, you would expect a little more.

All six people in the party thought the food was delicious and the server was excellent. The wait time for the food was too slow. The restaurant was very busy and it appeared our waiter had to service too many tables. The restaurant itself was very nice. The noise level was very high making it difficult to hear the people sitting across the table. I will definitely be going back.

We were there for a business luncheon. It was excellent. We all had the prix fixe menu which was a good value. The food was very good and the portions ample. They have a nice wine list. Our server, also the bartender, was excellent, very accommodating. I was concerned that we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Hope they remain open as we definite plan to return.

Solid choice for Italian food. Friendly staff. The frutti de Mari and linguini and clams were excellent. They were out of scallops as an add on to the linguini and clams, which was a bummer.
