we enjoyed our first taste of Georgian food in restaurant tbilisi. the badrijani (aubergine) starter was very good, but I would definitely recommend a brot to go with him in our case the acharuli khachapuri (flatcake with cheese and ei) was the highlight of the meal. for our main had my partner the chakapuli (lamb with estragon) and I the satsivi (similar in walnut sauce they were quite pleasant, but perhaps not perfect to our taste, we are not used for Georgian food, of course. they were both served hot, but in very cold dishes, so within a short time it was also cold. Although I have read since that satsivi literally means cold dishes and is normally served cold, I must say that I did not...

Georgian food is deliciously packed with subtle flavours, and Tbilissi restaurant will serve it up with very kind waiting staff who care. The only things that may disappoint some is that the portion aren't big (enough for me, petite woman without a big appetite, but maybe not for a lad), and there aren't really vegetables (a small salad) so it's mostly meat stew and bread. But absolutely delicious ones . So perfect for me, but maybe not for you if you have a big appetite or require veggies

the environment was calm, the waitress was friendly and attentive. we had satsivi and chashushuli and housecakes, they were all good. the chashushuli tasted us both better, and the spicy plane was not much what is good, as she let the aromen come out. satsivi £13.95): huh in delicate nut sauce served with rice and maisflower puree. chashushuli £14.95): spicy bark with tomato, swash and pickle, served with salat and brot.

really loved the atmosphere in this relaxed but beautiful place. really nice dishes. for beginners we had an eggplant dish, calf liver (delicious! and a hot flat brot with cheese, butter and egg (which was amazing). for all we shared a walnut chicken dish, a lamb and the bark noodle. the wine list is full of options from Georgia also. we really enjoyed our evening here and would go back absolutely.

eating was really good! we were served by a nice friendly lady. these two decisive aspekte of the visit get 5 out of 5. I draw a star for a decoration especially, this place must come, is in 2022, not stay in 90s. there were some other diners there all enjoy their food, but I bet restaurant would be full if owners can find money to invest in a hauch of color.

Delicious food and very good service. Good vegetarian as well as meat and fish options. The one drawback a very high single step from/to the pavement to get into/out of the premises from the pavement.

the menu seemed authentic meaning much foreign understood for eating and dishes that I didn't quite know, but it was also descriptive.
