The wait staff and food were excellent, and the location is great for snowmobiling and other activities. Unfortunately, the management was quite rude and could benefit from some customer service training. We stayed in the Copper Roof cabin, which is off-grid with no water, power, or sewer — and it felt overpriced for what it offers. If management expects guests to clean the dishes and tidy up the cabin (which isn’t a problem for our hardworking, down-to-earth group), they need to be more upfront about those expectations and provide basic amenities like water. We didn't stay at the camps, but we were fortunate to use their guide service. Thanks to guide Danny and his fantastic team, my uncle was finally able to bag a moose after 20 years of applying. After the hunt, we faced a challenge being 16 hours from home and needing a processor for the moose. This crew went above and beyond, making dozens of calls across several states to help us out, even after their job was finished. They are professional, knowledgeable, and just an all-around great group of guys!
Tea pond is truly a magical place. We have been here many times and I can't say enough about the view. My husband and I get the center cabin which sleeps two and is an open room with no shower you have to use the shower building, but, it has a toilet in it and a nice kitchenette. They stock the pond with rookies and salmon. Fishing is great. Free kayak and canoes with motor boats available for a small fee. The lodge is stunning and great food and drinks! A great destination!
Restaurants are doing their best during COVID, and Tea Pond is no different. Those like Mb L, who hide behind their keyboards to criticize, should consider what our mothers taught us: if you can't say something nice, it's better to stay silent. If all you want to do is complain and create an oppressive atmosphere, perhaps it's time to find another place to express that sentiment. We understand that it's a busy holiday weekend, but there were plenty of COVID-19 signs, and we didn’t see any precautions being taken. It seemed like the restaurant primarily caters to the ATV crowd, which filled the bar area and parking lot. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the drive for us. The menu seems to have shifted heavily toward burgers. We won't be returning for a while.
Thank you to all of you for a great time and great people the hospitality was awesome and offering to come help us with our moose hunt if we needed the extra man power to get it out and we did thank you for everything you did to help us get the moose out of the woods would definitely stay with you again
Worlds biggest thank you to Tea Pond! The owners and staff are amazing and go out of there way to make your dreams a reality. My new husband and I will forever have a special place in our hearts for this beautiful spot, that made our wedding perfect
