Great new addition to the Westwood area. The room is casual and cleverly decorated. There is an open kitchen area with high tops and bar-style seating and a traditional dining area. We started with a vanilla parsnip bisque that was delicious. The vanilla was in perfect proportion, a beautiful hint, without being overwhelming. Entrees were coq a vin that was rich and tasteful, and the seafood pasta, with perfectly boiled shrimps and scallops in a beautiful bright sauce made over tasty house pasta. The cream Brule Dessert was different from most others I had, a bit thinner with a softer caramel top, unique and very good. BYOB. Very recommended.

I came in with high hopes but left with a rather mediocre experience. My family appreciates good French cuisine, so we had certain expectations. For the first course, we ordered escargot, which was too salty and served at room temperature. The pâté was too cold, and the pork belly was just okay. For the main course, the skirt steak was overcooked and tough, the duck confit was salty and rubbery, and the seafood pasta was somewhat acceptable. Overall, it was a big disappointment.
Very good restaurant. Have been twice. Both times our meal and the whole experience were excellent. You can sit at a counter spot and watch the cooking. As my wife says dinner and a show. The duck is fantastic. The skirt steak very good-though some parts a little stringy. The frissee salad is tasty though heating the lardons would add some additional flavor. The Chef comes out of the kitchen to say hello. Overall an excellent choice for a special meal out.
This restaurant was absolutely fantastic! We had been looking forward to dining here for a couple of months, and we're so glad we finally made it. The food was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was excellent. I’ve had the pleasure of dining there twice, and each time I am absolutely amazed! The ambiance, food, and service are all top-notch! The Tuna Tartare is simply unmatched! I also tried the seafood pasta and the short ribs, both of which were so delicious I nearly licked my plate clean. It truly offers the most exquisite food in the Pascack Valley.
Delicious food. Wonderful ambiance. Two seating areas, high tops where we sat, overlooking open kitchen area loved watching the chefs prepare food; and adjoining seated dining area. Food was all prepared to perfection. Duck and Short rib both best ever, scrumptious every morsel. Looking forward to our next trip already.
Great food and service. Great mood, beautiful place. Hurry up, you will soon not be able to get a reservation!!! The owner came to every table last night and was quite charming, explained about the food and his vision for the place. Win/win for Pascack Valley!!!
