I want to keep this brief, as I hate leaving any bad reviews, but this was worth sharing. Our waitress was doing the best she could. It seemed she had way more tables than the other servers and was doing her best to be communicative and stay on top of everything. We waited at least 30 min for our food to come out, and it was cold. She took the plates back without hesitation to fix this. We would have been fine just getting fresh fries and not having to wait any longer (an additional 15 20 minutes) for warm food, but it is what it is. The manager brought our bill to us after he wandered around for 30+ minutes while we sat there waiting for our check. He asked how everything was, and we told him about the cold food and the waiting forever. He folded up the bill and said, I guess we don 't need this then, and walked off. He then stopped to turn and say, I 'm sorry it wasn 't how you expected. I just feel like he could have come over at any point and apologized, and it would have been fine. We didn 't need new food and a comp meal it was a nice gesture. However, actual communication, sincerity, and timeliness would have been more appreciated.
Very fancy, the bison brisket is absolutely amazing. The burger kind of falls apart (that's bison for ya) I've heard it's good as well but my trusty favorite is the brisket.. I tried the ribs last time, those are absolutely amazing too. The staff is attentive and kind. I have no complaintsParking: It's across the street and I hadn't seen any parking metersDietary restrictions: We have dairy, soy and gluten allergies and all could be accommodated. Lots of patience from our Russia waiter (he was awesome)
The meals I've had here were good. Nothing terribly unique or spectacular but certainly not bad. I honestly feel it is a bit overpriced and with the exception of a few bison selections, I can get this fare anywhere and get a better value. A good example is the Caeser salad that was an additional cost as a side item. It was lettuce, croutons and a little grated parmesan. For a $21 plate of meatloaf I was expecting a little more.
My husband was very disappointed with the Delmonico Ribeye. He said it was the weirdest steak he ever had and that it was an over priced $35) roast. After looking it up, this cut is described as a “budget cut” or a good “alternative to a rib-eye if you’re on a budget”. I thought this was a good steak house but we will never be back! Also service was very slow from start to finish.
