I've taken a couple of days to write this didn't want to just have a gut reaction. I debated between 3 and 4 stars and decided to go with 4. Our server was great. We went for our anniversary, and we ordered the omakase. The hot rock waygu beef was wonderful. The sea bass was also really good. Everything else was pretty average. I'm also very disappointed that it seems like the omakase menu hasn't really changed in 5 years based on other reviews. If you decide to go I would avoid the omakase and order off the menu.
One of the coolest omakase experiences here yet. I treated my boyfriend for his birthday and the atmosphere was romantic, low-lit, and the servers and hosts were just great. It did get a bit busier as the night went on, but the entire reservation process was easy, service was top of the line, and is a must in Dallas to check out.
This place is a hidden gem. The photos don’t do the place justice. The food is delicious, atmosphere is relaxing and the service is excellent. All the small details in service made us so happy to go back again. Only downside is you’ll want to keep adding more food items because it’s all so good and it gets pricey in total.
As always, Tei An's service was immaculate. Celia C. was our server and she went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice time. My friends had never been but they couldn't stop singing its praises. I look forward to coming back in the future!

Fantastic Japanese restaurant with a wide variety of options. Everything I tried here tasted amazing and staff was very inviting. Sashimi tasted incredibly fresh and the caviar delicious! Would definitely recommend!
I’ve never ordered something off the menu that I wasn’t absolutely impressed by. It always exceeds my expectations. The service staff are friendly and the food is amazing. Great spot for an intimate date night!
If you go here, you have to try the ramen. The noodles are made fresh in-house, and they do offer different flavors of broth. Plenty of parking spots and valet parking is available.
I haven't been here in years. It is still one of the best restaurants in my life. My and my wife were amazed by the food and service. Will come back. Thank you.

I had a terrific experience at Tei An, all the staff were extremely friendly and the food was exceptional. The quiche and tuna tartare are a must try!
