Have you ever wanted to sit down at a table and eat a meal with your friends in the middle of a night club? After visiting Mr. Tempo I can firmly state it is a bad of an idea as it sounds. To be fair I wasn't fully aware of what sort of restaurant I was walking into beforehand. Let's start with the atmosphere. The place is nearly pitch black, making it difficult to know if the ramshackle tables and chairs are even clean. The music if you can even call it that as it's the same 3 songs over and over again is awful and extremely loud. It is impossible to have a conversation or to even think clearly because of this. I'll add the Service was adequate however due to the volume you best not ask for...
I found this place on a Google search for Mexican restaurant with vegetarian options. The place did not disappoint me. It is Japanese and Mexican fusion cuisine done well. The have a great selection of Margaritas, definitely all should try their Margarita Flight. I had there habanero infused inferno and it was pretty good. The dirty fries are a good starter choice. The atmosphere and vibe of this place is really cool and service excellent. Planning to visit again. Five star fit the food, vibes, service and easy parking.
This place can be really noisy so if you’re coming with friends to chat, forget about it. We’ve been here a few times. On this visit we tried the nachos and my wife got some tacos. They were both good- had a good amount of meat and toppings. Servers are nice as well as fast but depending what time you come be prepared to wait. Their desserts and drinks are extravagant, good for the celebrations of course; tasty and they don’t skimp on the drinks (again depends what time you go). It’s a college type vibe
We had an amazing experience at Tempo. My husband and I are visiting the area for a few days. We decided to try Tempo because of its star rating...we were not disappointed. They have an upbeat fun atmosphere that draws you in along with some of the best food...everything we had was delicious! To top off our experience, everyone was exceptionally friendly and our server, Sherri, was one of the best I have ever encountered in any caliber (casual to fine dining). If we could give Tempo ten stars, we would!
Came here for Father’s Day brunch and it was a hit! I got the pork belly bites, my dad got the meat lovers omelette, and my boyfriend got the steak. All of was very good, very flavorful and the drinks were delicious! I had left overs and hard them for dinner a few days later, still scrumptious! I think we’ll be back for sure! The servers were polite and attentive as well. Definitely recommend! Tip: if you want to have conversation… sit outside, it’s pretty lively inside :
Overall a good experience here. Our waiter was very attentive and welcoming. The food was tasty and the drinks were strong. The vibe of the place is definitely different and the menu has plenty of offerings. I was disappointed they had ran out of their carne asada. Also, majority of our party ended with headaches the next day from the drinks, despite not drinking enough for hangovers.
This place was amazing!!!! The food was so delicious and really good size portions for price. The atmosphere and vibe was on fire literally. Most of their specialty drinks come with a sparkler. The music was the hype, like a club without the club crowd. The decor and aesthetics were very authentic Mexican theme. I will definitely go back and checkout their other locations too!!!
