Ten Penny Restaurant Bar

Shelby Was our server, very personable and an excellent server. For at least the last 50 years of my life, I judge Resturant at first by their Reuben sandwich. It was really hard to make up my mind. The menu was so diverse and it all looked so good. My wife got a sliced turkey Reuben and I got a corn beef Reuben. I will have to say it was the very best Ruben I have ever had excellent side salad and homemade potato chips with ranch dip. We did get stuffed portobello mushrooms for an appetizer but halfway through what I thought was our lunch, we were full. That’s OK I get to eat the rest of my Reuben tonight for dinner. We will definitely make the drive from Gladstone to Leavenworth 30 minutes...

We had a red headed girl serving us. We had to wait over 30 minutes (mind you the place wasn’t busy. Had more available seating than not) to be asked what we would like to order because she was too much hiding behind the drink counter talking to 3 other workers. We stared right at her and tried to get her attention but she just ignored us. Hope she gets fired so we can come back to better service.

Love this place. I chose not to take pictures , cause there is a lot on ten penny site. Everything I hoped for visiting this place was what I imagined it would be ,, great local home feel. The food was great. Hope for you reading this that you get great vibes when you visit

Once a month, a bunch from high school meet there. Great place to meet and eat and catch up. Service is great. Employees are nice and helpful. I usually have to get a doggy bag.... Reserva una mesa ahora

Very attractive restaurant and bar. Good selection of draft beers. The service was very good and the food was excellent. Possibly the best green beans I've had in my life.

This restaurant reminded me of a 1970's pub with its decor. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was good at a reasonable price. I definitely will be returning.

Great place. Service was quick considering how busy it was. Food was delicious and the bartender was super friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back.
