I was really intrigued when a friend told me about Ten Ren in Toronto having a whole restaurant. Back in the states, they’re mostly known for tea and ginseng.This place was super nice! It reminded me of a HK cha chan tang but with Taiwanese classics. Throughly surprised by how good the food was. Loved the green tea noodles as well as just all the options they had.The value for their dinner sets is super good. The amount and quality of food you get for the price is insanity where I’m from. Would definitely come back again!!
We went out for some late night drinks and this place was recommended to us. I had seen this restaurant chain before but never had the chance to try it until now. It's a great spot for drinks, and I wish I had room in my stomach to sample the food. My mango drink was delicious, with fresh chunks of mango and just the right amount of sweetness. The menu is extensive and would take some time to explore fully. I really enjoyed it!
Salty, overpriced , microwave reheat food, overcharged.Tea shop is just tea shop. I would not recommend here for food. It’s not real Taiwanese food. However, drink was ok but I would recommend the yorkdale location. 2 beef noodles 2 regular bubble tea 3 side dishes 105This price I rather than go for all you can eat. Food was pretty tasty, the dinner set meal was very abundant for a single person almost could split it between two.Service was slightly odd, almost as if everyone was there on their first day.Had the taiwanese popcorn chicken with the max spiciness, zero spiciness at all even for those in the dining party that usually cannot take spicy foods.
I highly recommend this restaurant for its late hours, high-quality teas, and fantastic rewards system with great specials. The portions of their rice bowls are generous, and I suggest trying the Taiwanese sausage minced pork rice bowl (R02) or the Taiwanese crispy chicken and minced pork rice bowl (R03).
We ordered several desserts and drinks. I absolutely adored the waffle. It was incredibly delicious. I will definitely be ordering it again. The washroom should be cleaner though. I needed to use it, but it was not in good condition.
Really friendly staff, and amazing food with a huge selection of Taiwanese dishes.Also a super nice spot to study/get some work done, as long as you come during non peak hours otherwise they may ask you to leave if it gets too busy.

Love coming here after work, one of the few restaurants that's still open late in Markham. Drinks are obviously great here, and service is alway amazing. Alan and the team has done a great job.
