This place has been open since I moved to San Diego in 2009. At that time, I 'd order any salad and be happy. Any sandwich and delighted. The mashed potatoes were amazing. Good bread. It must have been sold and have a different owner. The food was really good and worth every penny. Since then, the menu has changed, changed, changed again. It 's not ok. The flavor no like longer exists. Mashed potatoes that taste bland, kinda like Elmer 's glue, not as sticky. The salads are so-so, not great, not dependable in flavor. This review is based off an Uber eats experience and even with a delivery the food was excellent.By far the best way to enjoy their meals is in their dining area. Today I had to get it delivered and I ordered a romaine Caesar salad with steak, a side of fried chicken and salmon. The Caesar salad was delicious and the steak strips were perfectly seasoned and also very tasty. The fried chicken pierces were my favorites of the dish and the salmon was also on point.This spot is definitely one of my favorite restaurants and their selection of food is excellent. I highly recommend this spot but be aware that Parking is limited to the street and peak times can be hard to park anywhere, but worth it...
Was heading home from a meeting and craved a good salad. Have had good experiences at other Tender Greens locations so stopped at this one. The good: the flavors of both the soup and the salad I got were pretty good. The not good: the place didn’t feel clean. Floors are dirty, bathroom is dingy. Service took forever, about half an hour to get a salad and a cup of soup. When it finally did come out, the tuna looked very weird. Wasn’t fully cooked like albacore, wasn’t seared like traditional tuna. Sort of a glistening white and mushy in the middle. Not even sure it was tuna.
Horrible service from staff who seemed to not care at all. Half the menu was out of stock. Charged extra because they had to modify order because they didn’t have things. Ahi tuna smelled like death and looked like jello. Overpriced. $120 for 4 people. Small portions which was fine because food was stale. Silverware buckets had mold. Every table was sticky. Desserts were served cold and they wouldn’t warm them up. I try to never leave a bad review but every step of the experience was a disaster and they didn’t seem to care.

Elevated, fresh and healthy fast casual option worth the occasional splurge. Very spacious and inviting. Tried their agua fresca drink (refreshing ginger flavor, not too sweet) as well as their pacific bowl with salmon. Spicy mayo dressing paired well with the ingredients and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Generous portions too. Good choice for grab and go in the area.
Just go to Sweet Green instead. Better service and food. We ordered our food to go and we kept waiting meanwhile everyone kept getting their food even though we were first in line. We had to remind them twice. Once we had our food no napkins, utensils, or the extra sauce we ordered. Also the bathroom had no toilet paper and paper towels.
I'm rating this restaurant three stars because the staff were incredibly friendly and the salads were decent. However, the fried chicken plate was terrible. I'm not even sure if it was chicken, as the last few bites were so tough that I couldn't finish it. I'm really disappointed.
The food is fresh, but the heavy use of oil makes it difficult to enjoy. The staff is very professional and friendly. However, the interior has a slight odor from burnt oil, and some surfaces felt a bit sticky. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.

The last that I visited here was about 5 years ago. Still a good salad with a choice of proteins. The service and quality, while still good, has slipped from being great. With a little effort, they can be great again I am sure!Food: 4/5
