I came in on 5/10/2023 and ordered a grilled chicken Cobb. The lady at the counter was in training and didn’t respond when I said hi and asked how she was doing. She just blankly asked, “here or to go?”Not really a warm greeting.Would have been nice if she pointed out where the silverware and napkins were or at least acted like I was welcomed.I sat at the only two top that was available, the other open tables were all for larger parties. My table was dirty and was not wiped down.I wiped it off with a paper napkin.I got my salad really fast, which is great as I was on my lunch hour.But the salad itself was underwhelming. My family and I visited this restaurant on Labor Day 2020 during quarantine. They had a dine-in area on the patio and ample parking at the back of the building. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Chicken plate and Chipotle BBQ Chicken bowl, along with Mint Lemonade and an Aqua Fresca. The food was light, fresh, and delicious. If I'm ever in the Manhattan Beach area again, I will definitely come back to this restaurant.
If I had to choose between Urban Plates and Tender Greens, I would pick the latter every time! I really appreciate the cleanliness of this Tender Greens location. The customer service at this restaurant is excellent and the dining area and restrooms are spotless. A clean restaurant is essential because it encourages customers to clean up after themselves. As for the food, I have only tried the plates, but the entrees available are delicious.
Went on a Sunday evening. Waited. Waited. Waited. Got my to-go order 32 minutes after I ordered (according to the time on their receipt). The food was cold and looked pathetic. The ?seasonal veggies? were just mushrooms. I go to other Tender Greens and love them. But this was an awful experience. We threw away their food and went for tacos.

I love this place. The salads are as fresh as can be. The atmosphere is relaxing and food is spectacular. The juices are really good. The only thing that they don 't do is, wait for it! Accept Cash , completely cashless! For those who don 't have a credit or debit card go with friends that do.
Tender Greens is one of my favorites. I always feel like I?m making the right choice for my body. Healthy without sacrificing flavor. My go-to dish is the Barbecue Chicken Salad swapping out the barbecue chicken for the salt and pepper chicken, plus a side of fresh veggies. Yum!
Absolutely 5 stars for taste, food quality, service. I've got slow cooked short ribs w broccoli mashed potatoes this time. Delicious. Kale salad on the side. Usually getting salmon, BBQ chicken, salads. Everything is always fresh and top quality. Highly recommend this place.
Love the salmon at Tender Greens. Steak was good too. Portion sizes are appropriate and not overwhelming. Next door to other restaurants in case members of your party prefer something else like Shake Shack or Randy's Donuts.

This was my first time at Tender Greens but I would certainly be back! It was very hard to decide because everything on the menu look so good. I ordered the salmon and it was delicious. The service was also great.
