We three went there for a celebratory meal last night. In the past we have regularly eaten at the previous restaurant, Creativo, which is a hard act to follow, but this one is just about the best that could be done! We ordered black pudding...to start, one savoury and one dulce (more traditional here). We also ordered a portion of scrambled eggs with prawns and mushrooms. All were delicious. We then ordered 2 fajitas and I had the entrecote steak. We were all more than happy with our choice. My steak was very large and, sadly I couldn't finish it! It was slightly too well done for my taste, but still moist and tasty and there were plenty of veg!!! We had plenty of wine, both red and white and all good. The service was great. Friendly and charming, efficient staff. I would have given 5 stars, if the steak had been cooked to my liking. Good Luck to the team. Long may they continue.
We really enjoy eating here as both the food, the chef patron and his wife make the whole dining out event one of our favourites. Currently the menu may be a little reduced but the quality of the food produced is evident. Against all the...odds the restaurant has stayed open amidst the rubble and in spite of the onslaught of the building works and the destruction of the square. We still enjoy eating there and like to support the restaurant as it struggles to survive. We very much look forward to it's emerging from the ruins next year, in August 2018 and enjoying more delicious meals, hopefully if we can get a table. then! I would have given the restaurant 5 stars but my reluctance is only due to the current building work.
