Been here a bunch of times and I’ve always been pleased with the service and the quality of food. Been coming here for the past 5 years and it’s always been good. I was so excited when they decided to open a second location downtown at the Annex back in 2020 or 2021 since it’s a lot closer for me.The Unionville location offers a few more dishes that the downtown location doesn’t. The sushi is wonderful. Tastes similar to the “real” thing and looks amazing! Took my friend who is vegetarian here and she was astounded with the amount of options they have for her. The table shared two of the special maki rolls definitely the highlight of the meal for me especially the spider maki roll. We also shared the crispy “duck” which looked a lot bigger in the photo then in real life very tasty though and crisp; the gyoza’s were honestly not good; the bean sprout salad which was nice, light and fresh; and the pad thai which was delicious! Interesting vegetarian food options vegetarian Japanese sushi and sashimi! I’d have to say the vegan salmon sashimi does taste like the real thing. The only thing is that they sliced it way too thin (about 3mm thick probably to save costs? . Otherwise I do enjoy the food and would come back again.
Normally I don’t eat vegan food but this place was a exception! The food here is exceptional and the peak of its kind, the servers are all respectful to. The food taste better then the sushi that I normally eat, definitely a 5 out of 5 I definitely recommend!
Awesome vegan food. The sweet and sour chicken was so good, crispy and flavourful. One of the best mock meats I have tried. Price was affordable so we would definitely come back.
