Tequila Sunrise - Reserva de mesa

My family and I have been dining at this restaurant since I was a child (in the 1990s) and it’s as awesome and delicious as ever. It’s not exactly what one might describe as your everyday “traditional” Mexican cuisine. But in my opinion (as a New Yorker who has never been to Mexico to sample the cuisine) it’s much better. The chicken fajitas are great, their salsa is delicious the flan is legendary. They offer a full bar, tended with excellence and the table service is wonderful. The servers are great always as efficient as they are friendly and the same goes for the rest of the staff, both kitchen and dining room. I visited Tequila Sunrise recently and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it to others. My experience was marred by several issues. Firstly, the bartender's attitude was extremely poor, which significantly impacted my enjoyment of the evening. Secondly, the food was served cold, indicating a lack of attention to detail in the kitchen. Lastly, to my dismay, I found a hair in my meal, which was a concerning hygiene issue. Overall, the combination of these factors left me with a negative impression of the restaurant, and I would advise others to consider alternative dining options. I truly don’t recommend this place.

Order was ready very fast, but it was terribly disappointing. I ordered vegetable fajitas. The taste was bland and plain. They were undercooked. The sides (tomato salad, guacamole, sour cream and lettuce. All in one container. The guac tasted old and moldy, and looked a bit brown. The tomato onion salad was mushy and looked like it was made two days prior. Ridiculous. The previous times I ate there within the last couple of years, the food was also dissapointing. This restaurant is a staple in Larchmont, and I just don’t understand why!

Went here yesterday 7 dollar margaritas were good but the star of the show was the food I ordered birria tacos when they came out it was ground meat on a tortilla shell that is not birria tacos but I was like hmm maybe everyone makes it differently but no they nerve to call it something that it’s not plus the ground meat had no flavor. Also experienced the worst case of food poisoning last night my friend and I had the same symptoms couldn’t sleep never again will I come back very disappointed Reserva una mesa ahora

Wonderful place to get dinner, sit outside and get a margarita. The food is plentiful, the guacamole was fresh. Servers were attentive and efficient. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, the art work on the wall pieces is stunning. Have eaten there several times and would highly recommend.

The waitress was rude, and the supervisor was even worse. I went out with my friends to celebrate an event, but the experience was so bad that it ruined our whole night. It’s definitely our first and last time there. I don’t like to write bad reviews but this one was necessary.

If you want the best experience, atmosphere and Mexican cuisine then Tequila Sunrise in Larchmont NY is the place to go. The owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet greeting you with a warm hello and checking on you throughout your meal. Very highly recommended.

Oldie but a goodie!!!! Service is always good! Frenando is always smiling Marco makes the best drinks!!! May seem nerdy, but I love all the murals inside the mayan calendar wall pieces... Reserva una mesa ahora

So good! Food comes out fast and the free chips and salsa is always a plus. Portions are good and the prices are reasonable especially for the area.
